MNM is a Licensed Leap ‘N Learn Dance Studio.
The Leap ’N Learn program is designed to be an effective, safe, progressive, and developmentally appropriate method for 3 to 12-year-old students to learn dance. Designed by master teacher Beverly Spell and expert child psychologist Dr. Annie Spell, the syllabus combines the healthiest practices for teaching ballet technique, while simultaneously encouraging pretend play amongst the youngest students to maintain a positive and fun environment, capitalizing on the naturally occurring cognitive and neural development of children. This syllabus provides the tools and knowledge necessary for the creation of a successful learning environment.
This early childhood program is specifically designed to teach dance based on a child’s physical, emotional and cognitive development. Leap ’N Learn classes will capture your child’s imagination with themes like mermaids, flamingos, fairies, sea creatures, kangaroo’s and more whist learning the foundation of beginning ballet and musicality in a fun and nurturing environment.

Elementary positions and movements of ballet

Your child will also learn the basics of classroom behavior and manners, which include learning how to take turns, following another dancer or leading the way, waiting patiently, working together with others, and having a positive attitude.
