Whether your child is taking their first dance steps, performing in our Show Groups, or dreaming of becoming a future dance teacher, MNM has a program to support them:

🌸 Recreational & Performance Classes – Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Cheer, and more, all designed to make your child love dancing while building skill and confidence.

🌸 Show Group & Dance Step Program – For ambitious students, helping your child refine technique, build leadership, and shine on stage while learning to be a positive role model in the studio.

🌸 Certificate III & IV Dance Teaching Courses – For senior students ready to step into teaching, lead classes, and explore studio management, with mentoring, workshops, and real-world experience.

Vocational Educational Training

💖 Step into Your Dance Journey with MNM Creating and Performing, in partnership with Canberra Dance Collective (CDC) 💖

We’re so excited to offer two nationally accredited courses through the Ignite program, designed to help young dancers grow into confident leaders, teachers, and future studio stars.

CUA30320 – Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching

This course is perfect for senior students and emerging leaders who want to support and inspire others in dance. Students will gain confidence in class planning, student support, safe dance practices, and instructional techniques — all while enjoying hands-on in-studio experience.

Who it’s for:
- Year 8–10 students
- Emerging assistant teachers
- Dancers curious about a future in teaching

CUA30320 – Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching

For those ready to take the next step, this course gives students the tools to teach their own classes, lead with confidence, and understand the business of dance. Learn to create engaging lesson plans, lead groups, communicate with parents, and manage the day-to-day of a studio environment.

Who it’s for:
- Year 10 students and up
- Early career dance educators
- Aspiring Dance educators or studio managers

Special MNM + Ignite Support

Students on either course will enjoy:
🌸 A 2-day in-person workshop in Canberra to connect, learn, and grow hands-on with industry professionals
🌸 Fortnightly mentoring sessions with either CDC or MNM educators, providing personalised guidance and support every step of the way
🌸 Real classroom experience in partnered dance environments
🌸 Depending on your school, you may be eligible for school credit points. This is at the student’s school discretion in conjunction with the NSW Board of Secondary School Studies or interstate equivalent

MNM Dance Step Program

Our Dance Step Program is designed to empower Show Group students to grow as leaders, role models, and confident performers within our MNM family. Through structured training and mentorship, students develop valuable skills that go beyond dance — including communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.

Designed for dancers 10 years and up, the program helps students:
